Mandatory Landing Card Requirement

All travellers to Nigeria are required to apply for a mandatory Landing & Exit Card within 3 days prior to arrival. The card can be applied for here free of charge.

Travellers transiting Nigeria without leaving the transit area of the airport are not required to apply for a landing card.

In addition, travellers must complete a health declaration form within 24 hours before departure. The form can be completed here.

    Permitted Activities
    The Business eVisa permits activities such as meetings, contract negotiations, conferences, sales & marketing activities, trade fairs/seminars/training sessions, job interviews and procurement of goods and services. For any other work-related tasks, including technical work, oil rig operations and audits, a temporary work permit (TWP) is required.

      1. When is the best time to apply for my Nigeria visa?

        The best time to apply for your Nigeria visa is 1-2 months before your travel date. However, if you are running short on time, we may be able to process your visa on a faster service at the Embassy’s discretion.

      2. Do I have to send you my passport to get a Nigeria visa? Is it safe to send a passport?

        Yes. You will need to send your actual passport, not a copy of it. The Nigeria visa is stamped on your passport and will become one of your passport pages. Visa request cannot be processed without your original passport. Because of the importance of your passport, we strongly suggest that you send your application by a secure method, such as a guaranteed postal service or courier.
