Sample of the Business Travel Requirements for an Indonesia Visa for Singapore Citizens

  1. Visa May Be Required

    Applicants travelling to Indonesia to attend seminars or conferences, are visa exempt for stays of up to 30 days, provided arriving and departing Indonesia from any of the following Airports and Seaports only:

    Airports

    • Soekarno Hatta
    • Tangerang Ngurah Rai Bali
    • Kualanamu, Medan
    • Juanda Surabaya; dan
    • Hang Nadim Batam

    Seaports

    • Sri Bintan
    • Sekupang
    • Batam Center
    • Dihapus
    • Nongsa Terminal Bahari
    • Marina Teluk Senimba
    • Citra Tri Tunas
    • Bandar Bentan Telani Lagoi
    • Bandar Seri Udana Lobam; dan
    • Tanjun Balai Karimun

    The traveller must:

    • Hold a passport valid at least six months on entry with two blank visa pages
    • Hold proof of sufficient funds
    • Hold proof of onward/return flights
    • Hold all documents required for the next destination
    • Confirm with the airline that boarding will be permitted without a visa as these conditions are subject to change

    Applicants travelling for purposes other than to attend seminars or conferences, or wish to remain in Indonesia for more than 30 days, or are not arriving and departing Indonesia from any of the Airports and Seaports listed above, must apply for a Visa.

  2. Passport

    The applicant's actual passport (along with a photocopy of the photo page). The passport must:

    • Be valid for six months beyond entry date
    • Have at least one blank visa page

  3. Photograph(s)

    You must provide a photograph. Upload your photo and we will print it to the exact specifications required for this visa. Follow http://cibtvisas.sg/photo-service.php to upload your photo.

     

     

    Alternatively, you may provide one colour, passport-type photograph that meets the following strict criteria: be taken within the last three months against an all-white background and printed on high-quality photo paper; be 45 mm by 35 mm; provide the full frontal view of your head with your face centered in the middle and displaying a neutral (non-smiling) expression. You may wear neither eyeglasses nor headwear except for religious purposes. Your photo should be glued to the designated section of the visa application form (in the absence of a designated area, affix to the top right or top left corner).

  4. Business Introduction Letter

    You are required to provide an original Business Introduction Letter from your Singapore-based company. Be certain your letter meets the specific requirements of the consulate by using our Digital Business Introduction Letter. Visit http://cibtvisas.sg/bcl-order to get started.

  5. CIBTvisas - Order Confirmation

    Provide the CIBTvisas Order Form included in this kit.

  6. Visa Application Form

    One fully completed and signed application form is required (do not print double sided). You must printout and send the completed application with your other required documents.

  7. Multiple Entry Visa Applicants

    If applying for a multiple entry business visa, you must supply an approval letter from the Indonesian government, otherwise a single entry visa will automatically be issued. The approval letter must be obtained by the inviting Indonesian company, through their local Indonesian government office.

    Applicants providing this approval letter are not required to also submit a Business Introduction Letter.

  8. Withdrawal of Applications

    Please note the Indonesian Embassy discourages the withdrawal of an application once submitted

  9. Traveller Registration Service (Highly Recommended)

      • Have at least one blank visa page
      The applicant's actual passport (along with a photocopy of the photo page). The passport must:

    • Employment Authorisation or Residency Permit

      You must submit a copy (front and back) of your Employment Pass, Blue IC, Work Permit or "PR".

      • Include your original confirmed e-ticket showing entry and exit dates
      • Show your full name as printed in your passport
      You must provide proof of travel arrangements for the duration of your trip.  Details of your intended arrangements must:
